What is the online store’s basis for processing?

Sögne Home processes certain types of personal data. You can find out the types of data we process in the overview above. Our basis for processing is in most cases consent, with one exception. This means that we collect and process personal data based on consent from the data subject. When purchasing in our online store, the basis for processing is therefore not consent but necessity for concluding an agreement in addition to statutory accounting requirements.

Processing of certain types of personal data outside the EU and EEA.

The online store does not use any third-party suppliers outside the EU and EEA and does not process personal data outside the EU/EEA.

Your rights

Access to your own personal data:

If you are registered in our systems, you have the right to access the data we hold about you, should you wish to do so. This means that you can have the data sent to you, or you can be informed about where you can find this data. In some cases we may need to ask for additional information about you to be able to confirm your identity before you are granted access. Contact the data controller if you want access.

Correcting your own personal data:

If you are registered in our systems and think that we have registered incorrect information about you, you have the right to have this data corrected, or you can be granted access to correct this yourself. In some cases we may need to ask for additional information about you to be able to confirm your identity before you are granted access. Contact the data controller if you want your data to be corrected.

Deleting your own personal data:

If you are registered in our systems but want us to delete the data we hold about you, you have this right. If you want to delete your data, please contact us through this e-mail address. In some cases where there may be reasons why the data cannot be deleted immediately, such as if you have entered into a contract with us and this data is necessary for the maintenance of this contract, we reserve the right to retain this data. In some cases we may need to ask for additional information about you to be able to confirm your identity before you are granted access. Contact the data controller if you want your data to be deleted.

Restricting the processing of your own personal data:

If you are registered in our systems and want to restrict the processing of your personal data, you have the right to request this. You can ask for individual forms of processing to cease, or you can request that we cease all processing. We reserve the right not to cease processing in some cases where there may be legal grounds for why such restriction of procession cannot be performed. Deletion of data may then be an option, if a general restriction is not possible according to current regulations. In some cases we may need to ask for additional data about you to be able to confirm your identity before we can make the changes. Contact the data controller if you want to restrict the processing of your data.

Data portability:

If you are registered in our systems, and the collection and processing of this personal data is performed automatically and is based on consent, you have the right to transfer this data to other suppliers. You can request this from us, and you then have the right to receive this data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. You may also have the right to have this data transferred directly from us to another supplier, if this is technically possible. In some cases we may need to ask for additional information about you to be able to confirm your identity before we can do this. Contact the data controller if you want to move or transfer your personal data.

Withdrawing consent for processing of your own personal data:

With the exception of information you provide in connection with purchases, all processing of personal data at Sögne Home is based on consent. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, and the processing of this personal data for that purpose will then cease. If the data is used only for the purpose from which you withdraw your consent, the data will also be deleted. In some cases we may need to ask for additional information about you to be able to confirm your identity before we can do this. Contact the data controller if you want to withdraw your consent for one or more instances of personal data processing.

Complaining about the processing of your own personal data:

If you want to complain about the way your data is processed or anything else related to your personal data, you have the right to do so. We trust that you will send an e-mail to the data controller or contact them by other means (you will find the data controller’s contact details at the top of this page). The data controller is responsible for safeguarding your rights and will help you if there is anything you are wondering about.

You also have the right to contact the Norwegian Data Protection Authority if you disagree with Sögne Home’s decisions or processing methods.
